Witchy Stationery Haul from The Quirky Cup Collective

What’s the only thing better than exquisite stationery? Supporting women in business! The Quirky Cup Collective in an Aussie brand by a wonderful artist called Sydonie, and her stuff is SO. BEAUTIFUL. She started out making hand-painted teacups as gifts (hence the name) and it blossomed into this incredible collection of cups, journals, stickers, planners, cards, pins and so much more.

When my friend Rachel DMed me a reel showing off the range of the Quirky Cup Collective’s journals I fell in love immediately. Despite not being a particularly spiritual person, I love the aesthetic of celestial, zodiac-inspired, witchy and magical looking stuff and of COURSE I love a notebook - that’s no secret! Combine the two and I simply can’t resist. Then I got onto their website, and the range of stickers sealed the deal.

Watch the haul video below, or scroll down for photos and my thoughts on each item!

This post is not sponsored - I bought all of this stuff with my own dollars, and the links in this post are not affiliate links. I just REALLY like this stuff! All prices mentioned in this post are in Australian dollars.

Made of Stars Journal - $39.99

Of the range of journals, this one jumped out at me. The purple galaxy, the ornate embossing, the romantic concept that we are all “made of stars” - it was a close race with the La Lune journal (which, who knows - I may nab next if I fill this one up quickly) but the purple was calling to me and so it won out. It feels like having my very own spell book or grimoire!

The Quirky Cup Collective’s journals are all available in dotted, lined and blank page versions, and of course I’ve opted for the dotted book. With that in mind, it might surprise you to learn that I don’t plan to use this book as a bullet journal, but as a regular journal - the kind where you write stream of consciousness things to empty your mind, process your feelings and learn about yourself. I plan to use the stickers you’ll find below (and some of my existing stash, of course) to help me decorate it just a little, because that’s fun - I’m super inspired by the wonderful @ruthie.journals and the way she does her moon movement spreads (that’s likely not the correct term but I don’t know anything about this stuff!) so that’s the look I’m going for with this book! I’m also very vehement that I won’t try for perfection - this book is outwardly perfect, but I don’t need the insides to be perfect - I just need to want to use it!

I’ve tried journaling before, and I’ve immediately found it helps me SO much, but I don’t make the time for myself to sit down and DO it. My hope is that by designating a beautiful notebook that I feel excited to spend the time writing in it!

This book as 160 pages of 160GSM paper, and a grey 5mm dot grid inside (which you can see a peek at on some of the sticker photos below). The dot grid is a bit bolder and the dots a bit bigger than I’m used to, which might have bothered me if I was actually planning to use it for bullet journaling, but for regular writing I don’t think it will be an issue at all.

Magic Tarot Sticker - $6.00

I don’t know anything about tarot but I LOVE the design of this sticker! The reflective shine in the line work, the colours, the dreamy illustrations - I couldn’t not have it. It’s a big boy - it takes up a fair bit of page space - but I think I’m going to be happy to concede that space to it, when the right page presents itself.

It’s tricky to see the shine in photos - definitely scroll up and check out the video if you want to see how this red/yellow/green reflect looks in motion!

Cosmic Sticker Sheet - $24.99

I love the versatility of a sticker sheet. Multiple small-ish stickers that all work together? Yes please! SHINY GOLD DETAILS? Absolutely! It also means I get 12 stickers in one go, which is pretty great value.

Also I’m fairly sure this was the only way I was going to get one of the brand’s namesake tea cups into my haul - lots of their stickers were sold out when I made my order, and I would have loved one of their teapot stickers - this sheet features a sweet little cup! As an absolute tea FIEND, I fell for it instantly.

The clouds in the corners aren’t actually part of the sticker sheet, but I have a sneaky feeling I’ll be cutting those off and sticking them in my book too!

Enchanting Ramen Sticker - $7.99

This was WAY too cute to pass up! My boyfriend Chris and I are both big ramen fans - he’s a Tonkotsu guy, and I like to go for a vegetarian option wherever possible. We’ve both been to Japan three times - twice together - and we’ve really missed having that option the past couple of years!

Made of Stars Hourglass Sticker - $8.00

Of course I couldn’t go past the sticker to match my stunning notebook. This one definitely has first page potential - I’m not sure if I’ll make a cover page for this book or not, but if I do, this sticker will be on it!

It’s also really cool to see how that line art cover design translates to this fully realised piece of artwork. And as a master procrastinator, the fact that the notebook and sticker both feature an hourglass will hopefully act as a reminder to get cracking!

Love Potion Bottle Sticker - $4.99

There are a range of potion stickers on the Quirky Cup Collective, and I grabbed what I could - a few were sold out, but I managed to score three! This one is for sure my favourite - it’s pink for starters, and I can never have too much pink in my life! I absolutely adore the tiny crescent moon on the top of the stopper - it’s such a special detail!

Calming Potion Bottle Sticker - $4.50

The entire practice of journaling is calming, so this sticker couldn’t be more appropriate. I’m a girl who loves rain, so the clouds and raindrops on this sticker really speak to me, and the conical shape is so adorable!

Positivity Potion Bottle Sticker - $4.99

After the past two years, who doesn’t need a little positivity? Apparently this is another trait of us Librans - being glass-half-full folks - and I just thought his little rainbow-in-a-bottle was too cute.

This completes the potion trio, but I can’t promise I won’t add the others to my collection if they come back in stock!

Libra Zodiac Tarot Sticker - $5.50

Yep, I bought the sticker for my zodiac sign! I’m a Libra - a double Libra actually! It’s both my sun and ascendent sign - although I don’t really know what that means. I have a Leo moon, in case you were wondering!

I don’t know anything about tarot either, but this sticker was too gorgeous to scroll past, and it was on sale.

Apparently Librans are diplomatic (check), idealistic (check), indecisive (only when it comes to what to eat!) and social (ummm… not always! Haha!)

Magical Bookstack Sticker - $8.00

Look, I know $8 is a lot for a sticker… but it’s GORGEOUS. I love reading - I’m currently on book number 18 for the year. I’ve toyed with the idea of a book journal (which is a specific product the Quirky Cup Collective have coming soon, although I would almost certainly DIY mine with a dotted journal) and this sticker gave me the spark of an idea - to audition my journey into book journaling in this book and just see how it goes, with absolutely no pressure. I absolutely adore Mhairi McFarlane, Paige Toon and Lindsey Kelk’s books so if you have any suggestions in that vein, please let me know - here’s my Goodreads!

Cosmic Bubble Tea Sticker 2 - $7.50

I LOVE bubble tea - I remember the first time I had it, way back in 2006 - at the time it was a bit hard to find in Australia but Sydney had a few stores (who remembers EasyWay? Their taro milk tea was the best!) and my boy Chris introduced me to it as “a drink you’ll have to chew”.

I love that it’s internationally popular now - it’s one of my favourite treats, so of course I had to grab this sticker! There’s actually another one (hence the 2) but it was sold out - they are both so cute, maybe I can grab version 1 another time!

Final Thoughts on the Quirky Cup Collective

In total I spent $119.21 for this order - a bunch of the items were on sale, and I took advantage of their 10% first order discount code too. Shipping from South Australia to me in Brisbane was $9.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase - I know it’s not the most affordable stationery haul I’ve done, but I love that I can support an Aussie woman in business who makes incredible art, at the same time as fueling my stationery obsession!
