November 2022 Modern Pastel Bujo

November is always a tricky month to come up with themes for - it’s the end of spring here in Australia, when things are REALLY starting to warm up. Fire season’s coming, school and uni are wrapping up and everyone’s making holiday plans.

Thankfully, I had a stash of new lovely stationery bits and pieces from TheModernJournaler.com to help spark some ideas! Huge thanks to Ericka at the Modern Journaler for gifting me with these beautiful pieces. If you’d like to see exactly what I got in my order, you can see my unboxing reel here.

I’m also so excited to share that I have a discount code for the Modern Journaler in case you’d like to grab some journaling goodies of your own at 20% off! This is not an affiliate link, it’s just a lovely gift for you from Ericka, and from me! Use my code ERIN20 to save 20% on your order at TheModernJournaler.com

Now, about this setup! Hit the video below to watch it all come together, or scroll down for photos and supply links.

Cover Page & Quote Page

I’m not always team cover page or quote page, but I counted ahead in my journal to see how much space I have for the rest of the year and there was DEFINITELY space, so I wanted to indulge a bit! I’m enjoying toeing the line of fresh Aussie spring and the autumnal vibes of the Northern Hemisphere with my quote!

Calendar Spread

I found this one a bit tricky to balance - I used washi tape to get a really clean line for the days of the week above the calendar boxes, and tore up some of the left page in the process! I covered it, but it threw off my page layout a little. I’m still pretty happy with how it turned out though!

Goals, Musings & Currently Page; Habit Tracker Page

Sometimes the same setup can look completely different with different stickers and washi and decor! I’ve used essentially the same setup for goals, musings and currently as in October but the vibe is so different this month. I love the contrast of all the patterns!

The habit tracker page features my go-to thermal printed calendars - grab the design here if you’d like to thermal print your November habit trackers too!

Content Planner Spread

This one has changed a bit throughout the year - I didn’t even have one in my January set up! It’s been through some colour-coded iterations, and the amount of page space it takes up has expanded too. The last few months I’ve ditched the Frixion pens and just written my plans in with regular fine liner - I know which accounts things are meant for, even without a colour-coded system.

Spending Log & Mood Tracker

The spending log continues to stay constant - two tables, three columns, and I use it to track all my spending every month.

The mood tracker was a difficult spread for me this month - I love an illustrative mood tracker but I was having trouble thinking of something to work with my theme! I ended up setting this page up last, going for this one continuous line. I’ll use the boxes made by where the line crosses itself to colour in each day and hopefully end up with something cute and abstract at the end of the month!

Weekly Spread

I’ve used a similar setup for my first weekly as I did last month - it’s been serving me well! I didn’t think I’d ever use the notes section, but didn’t want to have a super asymmetrical spread, and then it turned out I used it a lot in October!
